The pilot of an airplane can be likened to running a business. At certain moments in the life of a business during the startup and growth initial example, it is necessary to "hand fly" the business – you as an entrepreneur (pilot) must "control" business directly and make major changes to its management. If rising slightly, "nose-down trim" will be used. Some devices have hardware for Trim (Trim aileron) and turning (trim) as well. I'm not talking about any kind of "auto-pilot:" This is just one more carefully and precisely control the plane once it is in "cruise" flight and flying at a constant altitude and in a constant direction for a certain period of time.
In business, startup and initial growth are not the only time a company must be "hand-flying." If you are planning to sell or a otherwise "exit" from the company, you will also need to "steal" hand for a moment. You may not be "hand flying" directly with the company, but you will be directly involved significantly in the process of finding a buyer and negotiate a fair price for both of you. This coincides approximately with the approach and landing of an airplane – a moment where the driver must be significantly involved in controlling the aircraft.
Most other times during an activity "theft", small fixes and tweaks are all that is necessary to keep the company moving in the direction you want it to go. This is, of course, assuming you have a good business plan (flight plan) and a good team (crew). You must also be in a well designed (stable air). There ARE times during cruise flight when a company (or plane) need not be stolen hand – any time a shift is necessary. In aviation, it is all about navigation or avoidance of other aircraft and trade, it is in times of change, when new leadership is needed to move to the next level or to thwart competition.
Both hand fly an aircraft / business:
– Takeoff / start
– Increase initial / early stages of growth (combination of base and manual control)
– Change Management / New Business Opportunity
– The traffic avoidance and response competition (can be proactive or reactive)
– Downhill initial / Recital combination (out of trim and flight manual)
– Approach landing, leaving the decision made (combination of base and manual control)
– Landing / Exit Business (Sale or other exit strategy)
The reason it is important to understand this is that it is possible to "hand fly" an airplane (and a business) then it should be "trimmed". It is very easy to "overcorrect" When you hand fly an airplane during cruise flight … This will cause significant changes in altitude and direction because the pilot felt the need to directly control while the aircraft was controlled with relatively large movements. But in a stable plane, with trim little adjustments allow the aircraft to "fight" – and is exactly what business aircraft (and) must be designed to do.
