Airbus is currently employing 52,000 employees and is one of the world’s leading aircraft manufacturers.
Our headquarters is in Toulouse, France and all so operate 12 development and manufacturing facilities in France, Germany, Spain and the United Kingdom along with subsidiaries in the United States, China and Japan, plus a number of regional offices.
We build, sell and support a complete product line of 17 aircraft types, from the 100-seat single-aisle A318 to the 525-seat A380 – the world’s largest civil jetliner. We are also transferring our expertise to the military sector. In addition to manufacturing aerial tanker versions of the A310 and A330, we are developing the exciting new A350 XWB and the multi-role military transport aircraft, the A400M.
So far we have received more than 9,200 orders for our aircraft from over 310 customers over the world. Over 5,400 Airbus airliners are in-service today with more than 310 operators around the globe.
