I would really like an answer to this question.My mate was worried.
my friend said that he saw a boeing aircraft flying very low (strange) off worthing coast uk going towards the ocean? Is this normal practice?. He said it was flying at about 9pm last night. Was the plane in trouble. Why was it flying so low when there is no airport around there??

Large aircraft tend to look a lot closer than they are. They might seem only 200 feet off the ground when in fact they are 2000 feet off the ground. The height at which they fly often depends on air traffic control, especially near airports.
