Zurich is a fascinating and interesting travel destinations, tourist spots, and many social scenes. It is known to be clean, efficient, down-to-earth kid-friendly and safe. It has a very conducive environment.
Zurich is the largest city in Switzerland with approximately 376,815 people living in the city. It is the commercial and cultural center of Switzerland. The city may be regarded as one of the leading cities in the global world.
Zurich Switzerland is the best place to live for many reasons. For transportation, Zurich has several railway stations including Hauptbahnhof, the main station. Other stations are Stadelhofen Enge Altstetten, Wiedikon, and Hardbrucke Tiefenbrunnen.
The high-speed train in Zurich are the InterCityExpress, TGV, and Cisalpino. Zurich International Airport is located 10 km north of the town of Kloten and Airfield Dübendorf for use in aviation military. This place is well connected to the rest of Europe by train, with direct trains to Barcelona, Rome, Berlin, Budapest and other cities.
It is also an advantage that Zurich is multi-lingual. The official language is German, while the dialect most commonly spoken is German Zurich, the local dialect of Swiss Germans. Other commonly used languages are Italian, Spanish, English, French, Portuguese and Albanian.
Zurich is a religious city and remains the stronghold of Protestantism. There are a number of churches, like Grossmunster or Greatest Minster, Minister or Fraumunster the Dame, Saint-Pierre, who has the biggest church clock face in the world, and Kunsthaus Zurich. Kunsthaus houses one of the largest collections in Classic Modern Art in the world.
There are also several notable museums. The Swiss National Museum in the Park Platzspitz. The Konstruktiv Haus is made of concrete and conceptual art and designs. The Beyer Uhrenmuseum documents the history of timekeeping and timekeepers.
Other attractions in Zurich, one can mention Lindenhof is the site of Roman and medieval castle, and some guild houses along the river. There is also the old town, on both sides of the river, and the zoo.

Famous people who lived in Zurich are Richard Avenarius, Marcel Grossman, Gottfried Keller, Johanna Spyri, Hugo Koblet, Bruno Ganz, Heinz Günthardt, Albert Einstein, Tina Turner and Vesselina Kasarova.
Zurich holds some festivities regular. One is the Street Parade, which is currently the largest rave techno outdoors in Europe.
Swiss National Day is held every first day August. Celebrations are held in many cities in the evening and fireworks are launched into the night.
Zuri Fascht occurs every 3 years. These are festivals celebrating the weekend in Zurich.
